About the Aquaculture Exhibition Event
The Aquaculture Exhibition 2024 Event, organized by the Chamber of Aquaculture, aimed to gather key stakeholders in the aquaculture value chain. The event focused on fostering collaborations, promoting eco-friendly solutions, and embedding sustainability into core operations.

- Make a sale.
- Acquire five leads worthy of follow-ups.
- Reach out to fifty visitors.
Day 1: May 30, 2024
Our team arrived at the World Trade Center at 10 AM, ready to engage with visitors and showcase our innovative solutions. The day kicked off with a flurry of activity:
- Visitor Engagement: We interacted with close to 30 visitors, primarily fish farmers, scientists, and water pump business professionals. Out of these, we identified 13 visitors who showed significant interest and deserved further follow-up.
- Interview with CoA: Our team had an interview session with the Chamber of Aquaculture entourage, discussing our contributions and insights into the aquaculture sector.
- Potential Opportunities: We identified a promising opportunity with the President of the Catfish Farmers Association of Nigeria, which could lead to future collaborations.
- Technical Challenges: Although we faced some technical issues setting up our smartTAP, the rest of the day went smoothly.
- End of Day Review: We concluded the day with a team review, reflecting on our interactions and planning for an even better experience on Day 2.
Day 2: May 31, 2024
The second day of the exhibition provided new insights and opportunities for our team:
- Visitor Engagement: Despite seeing about half the number of visitors compared to Day 1, the quality of interactions was high. One visitor expressed significant interest in our ability to receive foreign deposits.
- Positive Feedback: A visitor praised our team’s knowledge and sales skills, reinforcing our confidence and commitment to excellence.
- Team Review: We conducted a thorough review of our activities and discussed our observations and recommendations for future exhibitions.
- Brand Visibility: Our distinctive jacket branding continued to attract attention and spark conversations with other exhibitors.

- Our booth’s location was perfect in terms of accessibility and space.
- Our team’s branding and enthusiasm made our booth welcoming and engaging.
Recommendations
- Guidelines Document: Create a document outlining steps and guidelines for future exhibitions, ensuring any team can efficiently prepare and execute.
- Storage for Exhibition Items: Designate a place for holding all exhibition items to facilitate easy mobilization for future events.
- Portfolio Building: Focus on building our portfolio before participating in future aquaculture events.
- Team Stipends: Structure small stipends for team members for lunch purposes, similar to overnight allowances.
- Pre-Exhibition Discussions: Conduct thorough discussions with the team before each exhibition to ensure everyone is aligned and prepared.
