To meet the intensive water demands of the project, Pumptech designed and engineered a high-volume, long-distance water transmission system using industry-leading solar hybrid and submersible pumping technologies.
Technical Scope & Engineering Solutions
- Advanced Pumping Infrastructure: To guarantee consistent, high-yield water supply, we deployed a powerful multi-pump configuration featuring elite LORENTZ technology:
- 1 x LORENTZ Hybrid Pump PSk2-60 CSJ150-2
- 2 x LORENTZ PSk2-40 CSJ120-2
- Massive Fluid Yield: The combined power of this synchronized system delivers an impressive, continuous flow rate of 600 m³ per hour, ensuring optimal water coverage across the vast agricultural expanse.
- Innovative Floating Intake System: Due to fluctuating water levels at the source, the submersible pumps were securely mounted onto a locally fabricated floating system. This custom-engineered pontoon ensures the pumps remain perfectly positioned for optimal intake, reducing silt ingestion and preventing dry-running.
- High-End Transmission Line: Water is moved from the source through a heavy-duty 500mm HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) pipeline. HDPE was selected for its superior durability, resistance to corrosion, and ability to withstand high pressure over extended service lifespans.
- Long-Distance Conveyance: The pipeline covers a massive transmission length of 3.5 kilometers, efficiently moving water across the terrain from the floating intake station straight to the main distribution reservoir.
